1. Scope of Consultancy

Alka Care Solutions provides consultancy support focused on quality improvement, compliance, leadership support, systems, and workplace culture within health, care, and community settings. The specific scope of work will be agreed in writing with each client.

2. Nature of Consultancy

The consultancy is advisory in nature. While support will be delivered in line with good practice and regulatory expectations (including alignment with CQC requirements where applicable), statutory responsibility for compliance, decision-making, and service delivery remains with the provider at all times.

3. Working Arrangements

Consultancy days, hours, and duration will be agreed in advance. Any preparation or background work required outside onsite sessions will be discussed and agreed beforehand.

4. Fees and Payment

Fees are agreed in advance and confirmed in writing.

Invoices will be issued fortnightly in advance, covering two agreed sessions at a time. Payment is requested in advance of delivery and is payable within the timeframe stated on the invoice. Bank details will be provided on the invoice.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

If a session needs to be cancelled or rescheduled, reasonable notice should be given. Sessions cancelled at short notice may still be chargeable unless otherwise agreed.

6. Communication

Support outside agreed consultancy days will normally be provided via email or message relating to ongoing work, to ensure queries are captured and responded to effectively. This does not replace agreed onsite consultancy time.

7. Confidentiality

All information shared during the consultancy will be treated as confidential and handled sensitively. Information will not be shared with third parties unless required by law or with the client's consent.

8. Data Protection

Any personal or sensitive data accessed during the consultancy will be handled in line with applicable data protection requirements and the provider's own policies and procedures.

9. Intellectual Property

Any tools, templates, frameworks, or training materials provided by Alka Care Solutions remain the intellectual property of Alka Care Solutions and may not be reproduced or shared without permission.

10. Review and Termination

Consultancy arrangements will be reviewed at agreed points. Either party may choose to end the consultancy by providing reasonable notice, subject to any sessions already invoiced or delivered.

11. Liability

Alka Care Solutions will not be liable for operational, regulatory, or business outcomes resulting from the implementation of advice provided. The provider remains responsible for all decisions and actions taken.

12. Employment Status

Nothing in this consultancy arrangement constitutes an employment, worker, or partnership relationship between the parties.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

14. Acceptance

Engagement in consultancy services and/or confirmation in writing is taken as acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
